Avondale Heights Community Garden
“It was my honour today to unveil this beautiful mosaic made by students at Avondale Primary School.”
Made over a period of five days, the mosaic represents the four seasons of the year, and pays respect to indigenous Australians with its yellow, black and red-tiled border.
Well done to the students for creating this legacy through art, and to the local community led by the Avondale Heights Community Garden, Rosemary McKenzie, Keilor East Rotary, Bendigo Bank East Keilor for continuing the garden in the spirit of community.
Moonee Valley Council represented by John Sipek, Samantha Byrne and Nicole Marshall.
